Hi, I’m Chris Howard, a freelance LEGO artist
I tell kids that I’ve been 8-years old for over 30 years now. I’m a long-time LEGO lover, and took the plunge to go full time with LEGO-oriented businesses in my mid-30s.
I was born and raised in Maine until I was 16. Also homeschooled for a few years. My family lived in Alabama for four years. I was there for one year before going off to college and grad school in Greenville, SC.
I met my wife when she was a college freshman and I was a junior. We dated all four years of her college, and then got married. We now have four kids (two boys, two girls).
After spending several years wishing I could turn my hobbies into a day job, in 2013, we relocated our family to Knoxville, Tennessee where we opened Bricks 4 Kidz Knoxville.
Most of my current time is spent running the business, but I still do some LEGO artwork on the side, but a lot of time designing models and developing programs for kids.
I help inspire and mentor the next generation of rocket scientists, skyscraper architects, and robotics engineers.
