LEGO Colors

The Original 3

When LEGO first started making plastic bricks they came in three colors: Red, White, and Blue. I would almost think they were patriotic Americans, except there are several countries that use those predominatn colors.

The Standard 5

By "the standard 5" I'm referring to those colors that are most common: Red, Yellow, Blue, Black, and White.

The Classic 8

In addition to the Standard Red, Yellow, Blue, Black, and White, we add Green, Brown, and Grey.

The Expanded 11

Lime, Orange, and Tan have also become quite common.

The Great 15

Add Dark Grey, Dark Blue, Light Blue, Pink.

The Expanding Horizon

To make your portrait even more personalized and accurate we can start getting into colors that are available on the market, but run a little steeper in price.

The Rare Gem

LEGO has produced over 50 different colors of bricks over the years. If you want to get really fancy, we can get really fancy, and track down some of the harder-to-find colors. These pieces may be a little harder to find, but can make your portrait that much more exquisite in color and detail.
